75% of ALL net donations stay in SW Florida and fund education, screening and treatment programs. In 2011, Komen SWFL put over $ 1 Million Dollars into our local community. 25% of ALL net donations are used for research. Komen is the largest source of non-governmental breast cancer research funds in the world. Komen also contributes over 200 % MORE in breast cancer research grant funding each year than ANY other charity in the U.S.
