Help end breast cancer forever...

Get Involved!

Our volunteers are passionate, dedicated, and determined to win the fight against breast cancer. Whether it is a year-round commitment or a one-time event, each volunteer makes a difference. Join us by getting involved today.

We have many opportunities for volunteers that range from helping in the office to speaking at education seminars. We will work with you to match your skills and talents with our needs.

Join us:  Our Education Committee needs volunteers to help set up and distribute breast health information for health fairs, expand our outreach program, or to be part of our Speakers Bureau. Members of the Education Committee meet once a month and help coordinate many different projects.

Join us:  Race for the Cure needs over 500 volunteers to make it happen. We have many opportunities for you to get involved. Help year round by joining a Race committee, making phone calls, or working on data entry. Many people are needed in the office the weeks leading up to the Race. Race day itself needs even more individuals to help out with the multitude of tasks that go into making the race such an overwhelming success.

Join us:  Our Special Events Committee helps at various Komen events. Duties may include helping to organize a specific event such as Bowl for the Cure, the Kix Country Music Concert or other community events. This is a great committee if you are available nights and/or weekends.

Join us:  Affiliate office volunteers perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in the office. Volunteers will work with our volunteer coordinator on making phone calls, helping with filing, data entry or special projects.

Remember, every minute you spend helping gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer.
