The Southwest Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is dedicated to fighting breast cancer on every front.
FACT:
75 % of ALL net income stays right here in our Southwest Florida community. We fund grants in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties and support hospitals and community organizations who provide breast health education, breast cancer screening and treatment programs.
FACT:
25 % supports the national Komen Grants Program, which funds ground breaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs around the world.

Komen is the largets source of non-governmental breast cancer research funding in the world.

The Komen Southwest Florida Affiliate has donated $4.7 million to community based programs in our area since 2002.

Our affiliate alone has also provided $1.5 million for cutting edge National research since 2002.

Our national office is responsible for covering their own expenses. None of the funds raised in our area are sent to our corporate office for their use in anything other than research grants.

We have received a 4 STAR rating from www.CharityNavigator.org for the 5th year in a row. Only 5 % of charities receive this coveted rating by the watchdog organization for all non-profits.
